Autel ATS100 Turn Assist & Blind Spot Warning System

Autel ATS100 is a radar-based turn assist and blind spot warning system designed for trucks, buses, and other commercial vehicles. It helps the driver detect pedestrians, cyclists, e-bikes, and other moving road users alongside the vehicle, particularly during turning maneuvers.

The system uses a 76–77 GHz millimeter-wave radar to measure target distance, speed, and angle. The radar provides a 180° horizontal field of detection and can detect vehicles at distances of up to approximately 80 meters and pedestrians or cyclists at up to approximately 40 meters.

An in-cab warning display alerts the driver to potential hazards using graduated visual and audible warnings. The included GPS and IMU module provides vehicle movement information, enabling ATS100 to operate even when all required vehicle CAN signals are not directly available.

Warning functions

ATS100 uses graduated collision-warning logic:

• Level 1 — an object enters the defined warning area
• Level 2 — collision risk increases, for example when the vehicle starts turning
• Level 3 — imminent collision risk; an audible warning is added to the visual warning

The turn warning function operates when vehicle speed is approximately 30 km/h or below.
